You may have unclaimed moneys/assets under certain circumstances, for example, a dormant bank account or CDS mismanagement. Under Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) ruling, the bank has the right to remit away these moneys to the Federal Treasury if the account dormant for more than 7 years.
